2004
- Krewe du Vieux Embarks on the Quest for Immortality
and
The
Krewe of Drips & Discharges
Does Never Ever Land

In 2004, the Krewe of Drips & Discharges had 61 members, built a new and improved,
mule drawn float, and reached the 200 member mark since our inception in 1993.
Once again, we took to the streets for our annual stumble through
the French Quarter. With all the publicity surrounding
the Michael Jackson child abuse scandal, we decided we’d visit Never
Ever Land to see what all the “whoopla” was about.
Some members are still reported missing!
Michael, dressed as Peter Pan, flew high over our festivities. And his
faithful “chimp”, Bubbles, lead our group while handing out invitations to a “sleep overgy” to
the crowds along the route. We dressed as pirates and lost boys,
with several “characters” from Michael’s entourage coming along for the ride.
